Maximizing Stewardship Introduction

  • Are you a pastor or church leader who is passionate about helping people trust in Christ and understand biblical principles?
  • Can you envision all your church members equipped for financial health, supported and guided by trained stewardship champions?
  • Do you want to strengthen your church’s financial resources to make a practical difference in your community and world?

Maximizing Financial Stewardship

We equip leaders to share biblical principles on provision, managing possessions, working, investing, saving, giving, debt, and spending. We offer best practices for churches to establish financial stewardship ministry, as well as recommended resources from a multitude of Christian based organizations. Our goal is to transform lives and cultivate cultures of financial freedom and generosity.

Module 1 Champion Training supports pastors in focusing on church-wide vision while every member of their church becomes equipped for financial health through scripture-based stewardship resources. Addressing money from the pulpit can feel awkward. This module provides all the tools needed to champion financial discipleship with success.

Green Laef with number 2 insideLess than 15% of pastors feel comfortable talking about money from the pulpit because many are perceived as speaking primarily about giving. As a result, the Biblical financial principles that can transform lives and foster church-wide generosity are infrequently taught in churches.

Green Laef with number 6 insideWithout financial stewardship ministry, churches will fail to activate the full potential of their congregation as followers of Christ. Families will continue to struggle, giving will remain unchanged, and many pastors will continue to work a second job to make ends meet.

Green Laef with number 1 insideFollowing a proven strategy for developing financial stewardship in your church will strengthen the finances of families and individuals and lead to long-term, increased generosity. As you grow your givers, your vision and mission will be more generously funded. The application of God’s best practices on money will transform lives, communities, and the world.

After their training, the new church stewardship champion will organize their first event – this can be a small group, a class, or financial coaching. After leading and reporting on this first event, (with pictures, testimonies, or a statement from their pastor), a printable Stewardship Champion Certificate will be awarded to the new champion. For graduates, a virtual round table discussion will be available each quarter to problem-solve, share ideas, and encourage other champions.
